Inclusive Leadership Cohort

We will strive for full inclusion where ALL employees can fully contribute their talents in the pursuit of organizational goals.  Our leaders are responsible for harnessing the power of our diverse talent by nurturing their ideas and unique perspectives to generate innovation and new opportunities.  People perform better and In order to achieve inclusion it is important to develop our leaders so they have the skills to create an inclusive environment.  This is the backbone behind the Inclusive Leadership Cohort.

What is a Cohort?

The Inclusive Leadership Cohort (ILC) is an ongoing, learning curriculum designed to bridge the gap between accepting and appreciating differences to fostering an inclusive work environment.  The ILC is a 4-month program that will develop the skills of high potential leaders and current leaders.  Participants of the ILC will focus on a new subject every month by utilizing different learning tools of books, courses, and instructor led training.

Program Areas

What is Inclusion: This area will focus on the core knowledge of inclusion and how we can leverage diversity to create an inclusive environment for our teams.  This will build the foundation around inclusion and its benefits.

Embracing Differences:This area focuses on the personal aspects to being an inclusive leader.  During these courses we will explore how to manage our own biases and assumptions, so they do not influence how we make decisions.

Empowering Others:Respecting others and learning how to be equitable to members of your teams is a crucial part of being an inclusive leader. This area focuses on how to do that and will also provide some one-on-one coaching from a certified coach on how to coach and develop your teams.

Embedding Inclusion:The final area of the cohort will focus on application.  It will focus on how to embed everything you have learned in your everyday items such as systems, policies, and processes, and will also provide guidance on how to hold yourself accountable.  The cohort will end with a presentation to leadership on your implementation of inclusion to a project, process or team.
